Patryk Klimala’s goal. Successful start to the MLS season
On the pitch in the game San Jose Earthquakes – New York Red Bulls appeared in the colors of the guests. The Polish striker successfully started this year’s games, because he entered the list of shooters. Klimala put the ball into the goal from close range after a good pass from Lewis Morgan.
The Klimala team finally won 3: 1. The hosts tied in the 69th minute, but just three minutes later it was 2: 1, and the guests finished off their rivals in extra time.

Klimala has been a New York Red Bulls player since April 2021. The Americans paid about two million euros for it. Klimala previously played for Celtic, where he joined Jagiellonia Białystok in January 2020 for four million euros. However, he did not make a great career in Scotland. He entered the field mainly from the substitute bench and for over a year of the game he played 28 games, in which he scored only three goals. Last season, MLS Klimala played in 30 games, scoring eight goals and noting six assists.
