Koloskov said that in this case, the Polish team would receive a forfeit defeat. “The fact that Poland may not go is real. It has not yet been decided where to play the match. While he is in Russia. If they transfer to a neutral field, they will play there. If the Polish team does not arrive there, they will get 0:3 and goodbye, ”he added.
Earlier, on February 26, the head of the Polish Football Union, Cesary Kulesha, wrote that the country’s national team refused to play with the Russian national team in the qualifying match for the 2022 World Cup. He called it the only right decision.
The qualifying match of the World Cup between Russia and Poland is scheduled for March 24 and should be held at the Moscow stadium “VTB Arena”. On March 29, the winner will compete for the right to enter the world championship with the best in the Sweden-Czech Republic pair.
