Former Corinthians player and now at Shakhtar Donetsk, attacking midfielder Pedrinho spoke about the delicate situation experienced by Brazilians working in Ukraine, after the Russian invasion and bombings in the country.
through the Instagram from his manager, Will Dantas, the athlete reported the drama lived in the hotel that houses the players, lamented the lack of supplies and, again, begged for help.
“The situation is getting more and more complicated. Here at the hotel, food is running out, water is running out, the children’s milk too. We are still in the same place, without support, without help from anything. It’s hard to talk, things are happening and no one gets involved to be able to help in one way or another, and we end up having it, because the situation is coming here and we are in this crossfire”, he reported.
“I ask you to try as much as possible to get us out of this situation. It’s very complicated and we don’t want to imagine the worst. We want to get out of here all together”, he asked.
This Thursday, Pedrinho appeared in a video alongside other Brazilians who play for Shakhtar and Dynamo Kiev. On the occasion, defender Marlon begged for help from the Brazilian government so that athletes can leave Kiev.
“We are all gathered here, Dynamo and Shakhtar players, with our families in a hotel. We ask you to share this video. Due to the lack of fuel in the city, the closed border and closed airspace, we are unable to leave . We ask for the support of the government of Brazil, which can help us”, said Marlon.
The record also marks the presence of former Palmeiras striker, Fernando, of former São Paulo player David Neres, who transferred to Shakhtar earlier this year, leaving Ajax, from Holland.
