“Conmebol condemns the attack perpetrated against the bus that transported the staff of the Bahía clubof Brazilian soccer, with the balance of several injured athletes, ”said the sports organization, based in Paraguay, in a message on Twitter.
He pointed out that “Football is synonymous with peace and tolerance” and warned that “violence destroys sport”.
The device reached the team bus upon its arrival on Thursday at the Arena Fonte Nova in Salvador, He broke the glass of some windows and injured two players on the campus, according to the club.
