Despite Manchester United’s bad form and internal conflicts with manager Ralf Rangnick, Cristiano Ronaldo seems to be excited about the future of his career.
In an interview with DAZN, the Portuguese took stock of the moment he had lived through and revealed that he is not close to retirement.
“I know it’s not many years before I leave football, maybe four or five years, but I hope to continue winning titles,” said CR7.
“You have to be smart and realize that, at 35, you are not the same as when you were 20 or 25. This maturity, experience and intelligence allows you to understand that, despite losing some things, you gain others. You have to have the right balance to be able to continue to compete at the highest level,” he added.
Taking stock of his career, Cristiano Ronaldo was satisfied with everything he has achieved so far.
“My life has been a very beautiful journey. I have left a mark on all the clubs where I have been. Some players will be able to reach the numbers I achieved, but none will be able to say and have that pride that left a mark wherever he went”, he concluded.
With Cristiano, Manchester United returns to the field this Saturday, at 12:00 (Brasília time), against Waltford, in a game valid for the 27th round of the Premier League.
