Former mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter Henry Cejudo refused to include Russian Khabib Nurmagomedov in the top five athletes in the history of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). He spoke about this on The Triple C & Schmo Show on YouTube.
Cejudo, who became the UFC champion in two weight categories, believes that the best fighter in the history of the promotion is the American Jon Jones. In second place is Demetrius Johnson, and Anderson Silva closes the top three. Further, according to Cejudo, he and the Canadian Georges St. Pierre are located.
The ex-champ explained that he included himself in the list for the reason that he managed to defeat three UFC Hall of Famers in his career: Johnson, TJ Dillashaw and Dominick Cruz. “Him [Нурмагомедова] also 12 wins in the UFC, but Khabib has not beaten a single member of the Hall of Fame, ”he said. Cejudo noted that Nurmagomedov can be included in the top ten.
Nurmagomedov is a former UFC lightweight champion. He defended the title three times, defeating Conor McGregor, Dustin Poirier and Justin Gaethje.
