This Wednesday, February 23, the last Champions League round of 16 first legs. Atlético de Madrid and Manchester United tied at two (2-2)while the confrontation between Benfica and Ajax ended in a tie at one (1-1).

At the Wanda Metropolitano stadium (Madrid) Atlético de Madrid and Manchester United measured their strength. The mattress team took the lead in the 6th minute with a goal from joao felix (1-0). Later, Simeone’s team was superior, but unable to score more goals. In the second half, Manchester United put Atlético in more trouble, although the locals continued to be superior. Haller took four minutes to recover from his own goal, as the Ajax striker made it 1-2. Benfica’s equalizer came in the 72nd minute, with a goal from Roman Yaremchuk (2-2).
