Pogacar, winner of the fourth stage of the UAE Tour

Tadej Pogacar (UAE Emirates) held its first win of the season this Wednesday, which also meant putting on the red jersey of leader of the UAE Tour. The fourth stage of the race was played between Fujairah Fort and the top of Jebel Jaysa journey of 181 kilometers and 2,646 meters of accumulated elevation gain.

With a final attack near the finish line, Pogacar prevailed in a sprint of Mountainrelaxing in the last meters, but not allowing himself to be reached by the British Adam Yachts (Ineos) and Russian Alexander Vlasov (Bora Hansgrohe).

In the general classification, Gernikarra Pello Bilbao (Bahrain – Victorious) ranks seventh, followed by Navarre Oscar Rodriguez (Movistar Team).

This Thursday will be the Fifth stage that will return cyclists from the mountains to the plain in a journey that will cover the route between Ras al Khaimah Corniche and Al Marjan Island through 182 kilometers.
