Spanish figure skater Laura Barkero, who competes in pair skating with Marco Zandron, explained the doping in her body at the Beijing Olympics. It is reported by the publication Marca.

The banned substance found in the athlete’s doping test could have entered her body through the cream. The figure skater used it to heal cuts she received from skate blades.

This is the fourth positive doping test at the 2022 Olympics. In addition, at the Games it became known about the positive doping test of the Russian figure skater Kamila Valieva. She passed the test at the Russian Championship on December 25, 2021.
