Swedish mixed martial artist (MMA) Khamzat Chimaev spoke about his goal in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). He is quoted by BJ Penn.
The fighter said that he wants to become the best and does not plan to remain an ordinary guy who won one belt. “I want two or three belts. Let’s see if I can do it. We can make our own plans, but God has the last word,” Chimaev said.
On January 10, Chimaev asked the head of the UFC, Dana White, to organize two fights for him in one evening. He stressed that he was not joking and was ready to hold several fights in a row.
Chimaev, who is called the New Khabib, has not suffered a single defeat in MMA. He has four wins in the UFC. He got the first three in 66 days, which was a promotion record. This was followed by a break due to complications caused by the coronavirus.
In total, Chimaev has ten victories in ten fights. Prior to joining the UFC, he fought at Brave FC. Chimaev also became the champion of Sweden in freestyle wrestling.
