After prevailing comfortably and giving a good show last Friday, February 18, in the time trial of the National Cycling Championship, Richard Carapaz from Carchen will go out this Sunday, February 20, to win the route that will take place in Quito from 9:00 a.m.: 00.
Carapaz won the time trial with a time of 47 minutes and 21 seconds in the 38.2 kilometers of circuit.
The cyclist said he was proud to have won the race and was prepared to continue pleasing his partials this Sunday on the route.
Now, his commitment is to complete the victories in the 17 laps of the route that includes 163 kilometers.
The fair will help him stay in shape for the upcoming events such as the Tour of Catalonia and the Giro d’Italia.
