The Ecuadorian fighter left for Mexico on Sunday in order to prepare for his first fight in the company.
Michael Morales (12-0 MMA) will have his first fight in UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship) on January 22 in Anaheim, California, as published last Saturday ESPN Sports.
While the undercard of UFC Vegas 41 was taking place, ESPN MMA through its social channels announced that Morales will be part of the UFC 270 function and will be measured in a welterweight duel with American Trevin Giles (14-3-0 MMA, 5-3 CFU).

Although on the UFC page in the fight card the UFC 270 event only consists of the promotion of the first defense of the fly belt by the Mexican Brandon Moreno against the Brazilian Deiveson Figueiredo, ESPN Sports notes that the evening will be headlined with the championship title fight between heavyweight monarch Francis Ngannou in unification against interim Ciryl Gane.
