Two people died after traffic accidents in Santo Domingo de los Tsáchilas and Manabí

The deceased were engaged in the delivery of food at home and the sale of buns, respectively.

A man who was traveling with another person on a motorcycle died after a traffic accident last Saturday night near the Ciudad Verde urbanization, in the city of Santo Domingo. His companion, a 19-year-old girl, suffered some bruises on her body.

According to the first investigations, the motorcycle on which the deceased was riding with the other person would have suffered a collision with a vehicle.

The deceased was identified as 23-year-old John Bryan Licoa Miranda. He was a student of the Food Processing career at the Tsáchila Institute and was dedicated to the delivery of products or food at home, witnesses indicated.

After the impact, Licoa suffered some bruises, for which he was transferred to the Gustavo Domínguez hospital. At dawn on Sunday 24, his death was confirmed in that health home.

Meanwhile, Geovanny Ramón López Holguín, 55, died Sunday afternoon on the Portoviejo-Crucita road after the motorcycle he was riding on collided with another similar car.

As a result of the crash, López died and two other people were injured, including a minor who was traveling with the deceased. The driver of the second motorcycle was the second injured person.

Both affected wounded were taken to the Nathalia Huerta de Niemes hospital in Rocafuerte.

At the time of the accident, López, who was a native of the Riochico de Portoviejo parish, was working selling buns, products that were left on the road after the impact.
