El Sadar is among the 23 candidates to be crowned the best stadium in the world of 2021, according to the website specialized in these football venues, StadiumDBthat already had open voting which will end on March 14.
The reform project red wall–Harresi Gorria surpassed the requirements that the international website imposes in order to participate: having been built or renovated in 2021, having more than 10,000 locations (El Sadar has 23,516) and hosting professional football matches.
The El Sadar stadium underwent an extensive remodeling of €23.3 million. They highlight the Red color throughout the venue: the seats, the locker room tunnel or the hoop in this color that can be seen from the outside.
Osasuna will have 22 more opponents: six from the United States, five from Turkey, three from Qatar and one each from Iraq, Argentina, Romania, Ecuador, Germany, Cameroon, Cambodia and Algeria.
