Milik wondered for a long time how to answer the question after the goal was scored. Eventually it fired

This is his time! he was the hero of the league clash with Angers, which took place a week ago. Marseille won 5-2 and the Pole scored a hat-trick. On Sunday he showed his great side again. And although this time he scored only one goal, it was probably more beautiful than all the previous ones this season. Milik entered the field at a quarter of an hour before the end, and just six minutes later he perfectly found himself in the penalty area Metz, took the ball on the chest, and then hit an undefendable rollover! This goal was even more valuable as there was a 1-1 draw on the scoreboard then, so the Pole took his team to the lead in the last minutes of the match.

Right after the match, Milik gave an interview. The journalist complained that he was impressed by his great form. “I don’t score every time, but I’m happy to have scored a goal today.” I am happy that I helped the team win the match, three points were the most important – said the Pole.

The journalist also asked how the forward reacted to the fact that – after scoring a hat-trick – he did not start another match in the starting line-up. – (…) [kilka sekund pauzy] There are some things I don’t understand, but I’m doing my job. That’s it, ‘he replied with a scowl on his face.

Good stats for Milik

For Arkadiusz Milik it is already the 5th goal scored in Ligue 1 this season. But this season he scored 14 goals in 23 matches, although he stayed on the pitch for just 1458 minutes. In the previous round against Angers he scored a hat-trick (and Marseille won 5: 2).

Thanks to Sunday’s victory, the team of Jorge Sampaoli has 46 points after 24 rounds (14 rounds left to the end). The chances of winning the championship are illusory (PSG already has 59 points), but second place gives a direct promotion to the Champions League. Behind OM are Nice (42 points) and Strasbourg (41 points).
