The Japanese Foreign Ministry announced the recall of its diplomats from Ukraine, NHK TV channel reports. The country’s embassy will remain “a small number of employees.” The agency noted that due to the reduction in the number of diplomats, the work of the embassy would be limited, and called on the country’s citizens to leave Ukraine.

Last week, Japan raised the level of danger of traveling to Ukraine and staying in this country to the maximum, fourth, and urged Japanese citizens to leave this country.

In turn, the Netherlands decided to take out five of its OSCE staff from the east of Ukraine. In addition, seven people involved in the EU advisory mission to reform the civilian security sector of Ukraine (EUAM) will return to their homeland, NOS TV channel reports with reference to the country’s Foreign Ministry.

Recall that earlier the CBS channel, citing informed sources, reported that the US administration intends to withdraw all American employees remaining in Kiev within 24-48 hours.

The United States and Great Britain withdrew their representatives from the monitoring mission in Ukraine earlier. In this regard, German Foreign Minister Annalena Berbock said that the OSCE mission is the “eyes and ears” of the international community, so it is necessary to ensure its full and continuous functioning.
