Defender of the Roman “Lazio” Romano Floriano Mussolini, the great-grandson of the leader of fascist Italy Benito Mussolini, for the first time in his career, got into the team’s application for a match of the national championship. The correspondent of “Lenta.ru” informs about it.

Mussolini could have made his debut with the Romans in the match against Verona in the game of the ninth round of Serie A. However, Lazio head coach Maurizio Sarri left the 18-year-old lateral on the bench.

Lazio ended up losing to Verona with a 1: 4 score. The only goal of the Romans on the account of Ciro Immobile.

In February 2021, it became known that Romano Mussolini moved to Lazio. The player can play on the right flank of the defense or midfield. The athlete is the son of Alessandra Mussolini, Member of the European Parliament in 2014-2019.
