Officially: Justyna Kowalczyk returns to running. Here she has already won twice

Currently, she works as an expert for the Eurosport TV station, where she not only comments on the competition, but is a regular guest on programs devoted to Beijing.

Although Kowalczyk ended her career in March 2018, sometimes she still takes part in competitions. The organizers of the next edition announced through the social media that less than a Pole would participate in it.

Kowalczyk will start in the Piast Run. “He will run for 50 km”

The Piast race takes place on a murderous distance of 50 km. In the past, Kowalczyk has already won these competitions. The last time was three years ago, when the runner proved to be the best classic technique at 50 km, five years ago earlier. This year’s edition will be held on March 5 in Jakuszyce.

However, this is not the longest distance on which the Polish woman has competed. In 2015, she tried her way in the Race of Wazw, which was as much as 90 km. Then Kowalczyk won this competition, having an advantage of less than five minutes over the other competitor.
