The Dutchman, literally in the last lap of the 2021 season, secured the championship, ending Hamilton’s long-term hegemony.

Currently, in Formula 1, intensive preparations are underway for the new season, which will be inaugurated in just two months in Bahrain. So the presentations of the new cars are slowly starting. On Thursday, we met the new model – AMR22.
AMR22 has been adapted to the new technical regulations that will apply from 2022. The new team opted for exactly the same paint job every year early with a few cosmetic changes. The biggest difference is the lack of the logo of the Austrian company BWT, which ended its cooperation with the British team at the end of last season. Instead, the logo of the Saudi fuel and chemical company Aramco appeared on the car.
– I look at this car and I think, who isn’t excited about it? A new season is ahead of us and nobody really knows what to expect. We have new rules and each team will hope to have read them correctly. Everyone wants to win, including me. I would not be in F1 if I had not dreamed of a triumph – said the team leader at the presentation.
The new car will be tested by Vettel and Stroll on Friday at Silverstone as part of the so-called movie day
