The first week after the release of Dying Light 2, the game may have been exceptionally successful. Despite minor faults reported by players, the production records remarkable results and is very popular. The Sunday numbers only confirm this – 274,983 people were in Dying Light 2 at the same time.
An excellent result among Polish productions
The mentioned statistics are the second best result in this respect in the case of Polish games. Only Cyberpunk 2077 on the day of its premiere recorded a better result. The production of CD Project Red managed to attract over a million players at one time. In the all-time ranking, DL2 came 23rd.
Currently, Dying Light 2 remains among the five most popular titles on Steam, second only to CS: GO, Dota 2, PUBG and Apex Legends.

For comparison, being a showcase of Polish productions of The Witcher 3, it attracted just over 103,000 people at one time.
The first impressions of the players are very positive
Although the game has only been on the market for a few days, it already collects exceptionally flattering opinions. Almost 30,000 users left their review on Steam, 81% of whom declared positive impressions of the game.
So the second part of the series follows the good steps of the first installment. The Dying Light counter for 7 years after its premiere on Steam has so far stopped at 223,000 opinions, including 95% favorable.
Nevertheless, the negative response of practically every fifth person towards the “two” still leaves a lot of room for improvement. It all stems from teenage mistakes that accompany practically every game. The first update was released by the developers yesterday, but Techland is still working on fixing all the bugs.
