Kevin Durant led the Nets to their first win of the season with 29 points, 15 rebounds and 12 assists.

Kevin Duran had a triple-double and led the attack of the Brooklyn Nets, who beat the Philadelphia Sixers on the road 109-114.

Both teams played without their respective stars: the Nets did not have the services of Kyrie Irving, who is not with the team due to his refusal to receive the COVID-19 vaccine; while Ben Simmons was left out of the first game at home for personal reasons and the Sixers do not know when he will return.

In 37 minutes of play, Duran had 29 points, 15 rebounds and 12 assists. Duran made 9 of 20 shots from the field, including 1 of 6 triples, and was perfect on staff with 10 of 10.

LaMarcus Aldridge had 23 points and James Harden had 20 points and eight assists.

For the Sixers, power forward Tobias Harris and guard Seth Curry scored 23 points each on a low night in attack for Embiid, who stayed at 19 points with a 6/15 shooting from the field.

The Cameroonian center, who limped off before the break but then returned to the game, added 8 rebounds, 2 steals and 4 blocks to his account.

With an 8-0 run, the Nets took the lead for the first time, 109-108, two minutes from time.

In the last minute Harris missed a jump shot and Curry a free throw that made it easier for the Nets to seal the win from the free throw line.
