“There has been a lot of talk about me in the last few days and weeks and there has been some speculation about what I want to do and why. However, a few weeks ago I decided to play for Borussia Dortmund in the future – said Suele in an interview with the German daily “Bild”.
He also praised the talks with the activists of the current Bundesliga runner-up (he is nine points behind Bayern Munich).
– From the moment they contacted me for the first time, I felt that the people managing the club were very keen to work with me. Hans Joachim Watzke, Michael Zorc, and Marco Rose gave me an idea of the role I can play in BVB. I had the feeling that I was wanted as a person and as a footballer. I was impressed with how they tried for me, so I knew quickly where I was going to play in the future, Suele added.
Suele has been performing since July 2017. During this time, he played 159 games, scoring 6 goals and having 4 assists. He reached, among others after the Champions League, UEFA Super Cup, four German championships, two national cups and the Club World Cup.
The German representative is valued by the Transfermarkt portal at 35 million euros, but he will transfer to the runner-up of the Bundesliga for free.
