The Russian women’s biathlon team repeated its worst shooting result in the individual race at the Beijing Olympics. This is reported by the correspondent of “Lenta.ru”.
In total, domestic biathletes made 21 misses. Ulyana Nigmatullina has the most misses (10). A similar anti-record was first set by the participants of the Games in 1994. Then Anfisa Reztsova showed the worst shooting.
The best result in the individual race among Russians was shown by Kristina Reztsova. She finished ninth with two penalties. The winner was the German Denise Hermann, who covered the distance in 44 minutes and 12.7 seconds and made one miss.
Reztsova is a bronze medalist of the Beijing Games. Together with Nigmatullina, Alexander Loginov and Eduard Latypov, she showed the third result in the mixed relay.
