ZIO Beijing 2022. What does the Olympic flag look like? Which means?

The Olympic flag depicts five interconnected circles, and its history goes back to the “Bon Marche” tailor shop in Paris. In 1913 it was designed by baron Pierre de Coubertin, who is considered to be the father of the modern Olympic movement. He is also a founder.

The first time the Olympic flag was displayed to the public in 1914 in the amphitheater of the University of Paris. At that time, a ceremony was held on the occasion of the 20-year-long decision to resume. The author of the symbols was inspired by the 1912 Olympics in Stockholm, in which national teams from five continents participated.

Each of the Olympic rings symbolizes individual continents. Blue stands for Europe, black for Africa, yellow for Asia, red for America, and green for Australia and Oceania. Adding to this the white background color, all colors are meant to represent the colors that were present on all flags of the countries of the world in 1913.

The Olympic flag is hoisted on the mast on the occasion of each opening ceremony at the Olympic stadium, and remains there throughout the event until the end of the event. It is also legally protected as a notorious trademark.
