World heavyweight boxing champion Tyson Fury called the weaknesses of the Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk. He spoke about this in an interview on the ESPN YouTube channel.
“I think he is a good boxer. But still, he’s not that good. He tends to take hits, he’s small, light and doesn’t move fast,” Fury said. He noted that at the same time, Usyk is talented and performs at a decent level.
In January, Fury accused Usyk of using illegal drugs. The boxer called the Ukrainian a little steroid man after he defeated Joshua and won four championship belts.
In September 2021, Usyk defeated Anthony Joshua and became the world champion in four prestigious versions: the World Boxing Association (WBA), the International Boxing Federation (IBF), the World Boxing Organization (WBO) and the International Boxing Organization (IBO). For the title of absolute world champion, the Ukrainian lacks one belt – according to the World Boxing Council (WBC).
Fury holds the World Boxing Council (WBC) championship belt. He has 31 wins in 32 fights. Another meeting ended in a draw.
