The athlete was able to train from this Wednesday at the National Alpine Ski Center, under the special care of doctor Sarmiento, seeking to eliminate lactic acid, to help her regeneration and recovery after the demand.
Escobar is the only Ecuadorian athlete who won the ticket for the Winter Olympics this year, and has the support of the president of the COE.

The athlete, her coaching and medical staff are part of the great Olympic conglomerate, which seeks at all costs to comply with strict biosecurity measures due to the persistence of the COVID-19 pandemic throughout the world.
Although the competitions have already begun, the inauguration will take place tomorrow, Friday, so the American-Ecuadorian will be in charge of carrying the Ecuadorian flag.
Escobar has become the first Ecuadorian woman to participate in a Winter Olympics, after her compatriot, also a skier Klaus Jugbluth, did it in Pyeongchang in 2018.
