The struggle in Beijing is slowly developing. There are already three training series behind the jumpers, and their next challenge will be qualifying for participation in Sunday’s individual competition. Where and at what time to see the qualification on the hill in Zhangjiakou?

Good jumps of Poles in training

During the first Friday training, he showed very well, which after a jump of 101 meters received the highest score and deservedly won. He jumped 96 meters and finally took 17th place, he was 29th (89 meters), Paweł Wąsek was 43rd (78.5 meters), and Dawid Kubacki was only 49th (76 meters).

In the second training, the best was Peter Prevc with a jump of 103 meters. The highest among the white and reds was Piotr Żyła, 7th (100 meters). Then he took 21st place (95 meters), Paweł Wąsek 22nd (97 meters) and Stefan Hula 31st (89 meters). Kamil Stoch was not jumping this time.

At the third training session, only one of the white-and-red men appeared. Paweł Wąsek jumped 89.5 meters, which gave him 24th place. The best in the third training round was Lovro Kos, who jumped 104.5 meters.

Where and at what time to watch the Saturday qualifiers?

The coach of Polish ski jumpers, Michal Doleżal, after three Friday training sessions, chose four competitors who will compete in the qualification for the men’s individual competition on the normal hill. They will be Kamil Stoch, Piotr Żyła, Dawid Kubacki and Stefan Hula.

The trial series in Zhangjiakou will start on Saturday, February 5 at 6:15 CEST. Broadcast on TVP1, TVP Sport and in Player.pl. At 7:20 am, the qualifications for the Sunday competition will start. They will be available on Eurosport 1, TVP1, TVP Sport and Player.pl.
