Djokovic’s Coronavirus Documents Found Authentic

Serbia has denied reports that tennis player Novak Djokovic used fake documents about the transferred coronavirus to enter Australia to participate in the Australian Open. It is reported by The Guardian.

The Serbian prosecutor’s office confirmed the authenticity of the tennis player’s documents. “Inspections were carried out and it was established that Novak Djokovic was tested several times and that his certificates of test results dated December 16, 2021 and December 22, 2021 are valid,” the police said in a statement.

Earlier, the German publication Der Spiegel accused Djokovic of falsifying tests for COVID-19. Journalists found several inconsistencies in his PCR tests. The discrepancy was revealed in the time of passing the tests and in their numbers.

On January 16, Djokovic was deported from Australia. The Serb was banned from visiting the country for three years. The athlete admitted that he was extremely disappointed with this decision.

On January 14, the Australian authorities revoked Djokovic’s visa and decided to deport him. The Serbian tennis player is in trouble because his visa does not include a medical exemption from COVID-19 vaccination.
