The first competition at the Olympics without Tande and Forfang
As reported by Norwegian “Nettavisen”, Forfang and Tande will not make it to the first Olympic competition, which will be held on Sunday on the normal hill. On Tuesday, Forfang was supposed to receive a negative test result, but as we read in the Norwegian media, he cannot yet go to Beijing. Tande, on the other hand, still did not receive a negative result.
Alexander Stoeckl announced that he hopes Forfang will receive more negatives and will be in time for the large hill competition on Saturday 12 February. The coach hopes Tande will fly with him.

Both Norwegians had their first positive results after the competitions in. Information about Forfang’s infection appeared on January 20. Interestingly, Forfang became the Norwegian champion two days earlier. In an interview with Norwegian journalists, he confessed that he was afraid of contamination after Villumstad and Tande obtained positive test results. – It’s impossible to avoid this. I’m a bit scared of the coming week. I have been close to the coronavirus many times but have not been infected. Hope it goes well.
Since then, it has been a race against time for both Tande and Forfang to make it on time. As you can see, the first round was lost. Only Halvor Egner Granerud, Marius Lindvik and Robert Johansson are sure of the performances (for now).
