As announced by the organizers, the World Cup will begin on May 8 in France and after passing through Portugal, Japan, Austria, Canada, Catalonia, Andorra, Norway, Switzerland, Italy and Bulgaria, it will be decided on the second Saturday of October on the ramps of the Gorbea.
Jurek Ziemkiewiczdirector of the Gorbeia Suzienconsiders that this World Cup final supposes “a great challenge, but also a great opportunity to make Zeanuri known throughout the world“.
“We have welcomed the decision of the ISF (International Skyrunning Federation) and like every year we are working to organize a great, spectacular and attractive race. It is about people who come to Zeanuri enjoying themselves,” he stresses.
The test will celebrate its ninth edition with the usual format of two races, 32 kilometers and 21 kilometers, which last year brought together some 800 runners and where they triumphed the Romanian Denisa Dragomir and the Moroccan Zaid Ait Malek.
