The media had previously reported that the attacker was interested. It also happened – on Monday the club announced that it had signed a contract with a footballer. The contract will run until June 2024.

– I am very happy about this transfer. My situation has not been the easiest recently, so I am glad to be able to come back and sign a contract with Piast. Every time I came back to Piast, the band was at least one level higher. When I came for the first time, Piast was in a completely different place. Now I come back after seven years of playing abroad and it is clearly visible that the club is much higher and has written a really great story in recent years, so I’m even more glad to come back – said Wilczek, quoted by the club’s official website.

Kamil Wilczek returned to Piast Gliwice

The 34-year-old is the third best scorer in Piast Gliwice. He has 36 goals to his credit, and only Ruben Jurado (38 goals) and Wojciech KÄ™dziora (39 goals) are better. It can therefore be expected that if Wilczek finally returns to Piast, he will break the record and go down in the club’s history. Currently, Piast Gliwice is 12th in the table.
