The Lord suggests that I knew about the match sold against Świt Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki, where the prosecutor’s office charged my former players, and I did not have any accusations. Nowhere is it written that I knew anything about it – Michniewicz replied in a sharp tone.
– It was written in such a way that I put up a weaker squad. The match with Świt was in the middle of the aggregate of the Polish Cup final with Legia. Moreover, the yellow cards added up then. After the first match, 2-0 win, Piotrek Świerczewski paused for yellow cards, Maciek Scherfchen had a broken arm, and Rafał Grzelak had his knee cut. Three players could not play, and Łukasz Madej had to be replaced in the 44th minute. In addition, Michał Goliński, who was one yellow card from the pause, did not play. I do not know what I talked about with Ryszard Forbrich, with whom I worked at Amica for seven years. I also knew many journalists who knew him as I did. He was my immediate supervisor, he was one of the vice-presidents, he cooperated with today’s owner Jacek Rutkowski and many other people who still participate in Polish football – said the former youth coach.
– I have so much to say about it. If you suggest that I participated in two sold matches, that I knew about them – which you clearly did and everyone heard it – you are saying that it is not true and I would like to end there – Czesław Michniewicz summed up.
