Fiorentina will try to arrange the transfer of Russian striker Alexander Kokorin to another club on the final day of the transfer window. It is reported by Fiorentina.it with reference to La Nazione.
The Violets are ready to terminate the contract if there is no applicant for the 30-year-old striker. Kokorin can continue his career in the Turkish or Russian championship. January 31 is the final day of the transfer window in Italy. In Turkey, the pre-application period is valid until February 8, in Russia – up to February 22.
In early December 2021, Fiorentina announced their readiness to loan the Russian striker during the winter transfer window. Kokorin’s contract with the club runs until the summer of 2024, the striker’s salary is 1.8 million euros per year.
Kokorin has been playing for Fiorentina since January 2021. This season, he does not have an hour of playing time on his account.
