Jon Rahm touched the title of the Farmers Insurance Open de Golf, a tournament belonging to the American PGA circuit that takes place at the Torrey Pines Golf Course in San Diego (California), by completing the last round in 71 strokes with a cumulative of 274 and finishing just one behind the leader, American Luke List.
Rahm, current number one in the world, failed to win his second title in San Diego on the 70th anniversary of the tournament, where he won in 2017 with 65 strokes in the closing, his first title on the PGA Tour.
The one from Barrika, who kept his options until the last hole after failing at 1, 5 and 15 and pocketing birdies at 7, 8 and 9, reached the last two holes of the north course two shots from the head .
With a birdie on the 17th he managed to reduce the advantage to a single impact, but the par on the 18th nullified his chances of victory. Rahm shared third place with the American Cameron Tringale and the Australian Jason Day.

the americans Luke List and Will Zalatoris forced the tiebreaker by equaling at 273 strokes (-15) after completing the 18 holes of the final round, which was decided with a List birdie in the first.
The golfer from Seattle surprised with a card of 66 strokes with seven birdies and a bogey in the 17th with which he managed to reach the playoffs after a 18 position comeback and was thus able to lift his first PGA title.
