Polish jumpers, who were called up to the Winter Olympics after the World Cup in Zakopane, did not compete in Titisee-Neustadt a week ago. Most of them trained in front of Beijing. Therefore, they start for the first time after the break. And they presented themselves splendidly in training.
Great jumps of the Poles in Willingen. Stoch won the training
We could see particularly long flights in their performance in the second training series he won. The three-time Olympic champion reached 142 meters and overtook Piotr Żyła, who landed 5.5 meters further. Stoch, however, had weaker wind for skis.
Our other players also did well. He was sixth, who was measured 138 meters, and Stefan Hula was 19th after a jump on 119 m. Paweł Wąsek was a bit worse with 114 meters, which gave him the 33rd place. The youngest of the Polish team was the best of ours in the first training, in which he was seventh.
Cene Prevc used the best conditions in the first training. The Slovene scored 149.5 meters and was over 13 points ahead of the second. The third place was taken by another Slovene, Lovro Kos.
Dawid Kubacki was placed 13th, and Kamil Stoch took the 15th place. Stefan Hula, who was 18th, also did a good job. He only made a weak jump, taking 37th place. Ryoyu Kobayashi resigned from the first training session. He did the same in the second, but was joined by Daiki Ito and Karl Geiger.
