Tarasova responded to the Ukrainian coach who called the Russians enemies

Honored coach of Russia Tatyana Tarasova answered the Ukrainian coach Miron Markevich, who called the Russians enemies. Her words are quoted by Sport24.

“Well, if a person cannot distinguish white from black, then he has a problem. So he is sick, he needs to be treated, ”said Tarasova. According to the expert, the Olympic Games are the main sporting event, and hugs and joint photos can be avoided only in order to protect yourself from illness.

Markevich said that joint photos were out of the question and called Russia an aggressor country. He stressed that everyone should be a patriot of their country and clearly know who is friend and who is enemy.

On January 21, the Ministry of Sports of Ukraine advised the athletes to refuse interviews in Russian. Also, athletes from Ukraine were forbidden to pose with the Russians for joint photos.

At the Summer Games in Tokyo, a scandal was provoked by a photo of Ukrainian high jumper Yaroslava Maguchy together with Russian Maria Lasitskene: both athletes became winners of high jump competitions. At home, the Ukrainian was criticized and was summoned to a conversation with the Ministry of Defense.

The Winter Olympic Games in Beijing will be held from February 4 to 20.
