Russian mixed style fighter (MMA) Fedor Emelianenko interrupted the interpreter during a press conference timed to coincide with the Bellator 269 tournament. The video is available on the Sport-Express YouTube channel.
Emelianenko, 45, made a remark to an employee who translated the words of Bellator head Scott Cocker. The latter talked about how the Russian heavyweight was looking for the most difficult opponent for his fight in Moscow.
Emelianenko stopped the young man with the words “translate incorrectly.” Tatiana Svyatodumova, the personal translator of the Russian fighter, gave Cocker’s answer.
Earlier, a video of a duel of views between Emelianenko and his rival in the main battle of the Bellator tournament in Moscow, Timothy Johnson, appeared on the network. The fight will lead the organization’s first Russian event. It is scheduled for October 23rd.
