Raków Częstochowa seems to be the winner of the winter transfer window. Marek Papszun’s team, fighting for the Polish championship, recently brought in Deian Sorescu, whom Legia was supposed to be striving for. There is no indication that any of the players is going to leave Raków in the near future, especially as the players themselves feel very well in the club.
Sebastian Musiolik rejected the offer from MLS. I want to stay in Raków Częstochowa
An example of this is the case of Sebastian Musiolik. According to meczyki.pl, DC United offered the Polish runner-up 500 thousand. euro for a large striker. The 25-year-old seemed to be leaving the club, especially since MLS offers tend to be financially attractive. Additionally, there is a hiatus between seasons in America, so the footballer would have time to blend in with the new team. Musiolik, however, decided to reject the offer and stay in Raków at least until the end of the current season.
Thus, the group of Polish attackers entering the US will not expand. For now, Adam Buksa, Kacper Przybyłko, Patryk Klimala and Jarosław Niezgoda are playing there. Karol Świderski, who is to join Charlotte FC, will soon join this group. DC United, in which Musiolik could play, finished eighth in the Eastern Conference, ending the game after the regular phase.
This season, Musiolik is fighting with Vladislav Gutkovskis for a place in the basic squad of Raków Częstochowa. The left-footed striker played a total of 780 minutes in 17 league matches, scoring two goals. Musiolik has already had a foreign episode behind him, because in October 2020 he was borrowed for a year to appear in Serie B Pordenone Calcio. He ended the season with six league goals.
