On December 29, he officially left Udinese Calcio, whose player he has been since August 2018. His period of unemployment did not last long, however. A few days later, the 19-time officially became Vicenza’s new footballer.
Łukasz Teodorczyk’s unused penalty
On Sunday, Teodorczyk made his debut in new colors. His team took on Cittadella. It could have been an almost dream debut for the Polish striker. Teodorczyk, who came out in the first team, won a penalty kick for his team at the end of the first half. he himself came to the ball and faced a chance to even the result (his team was losing 1: 2). Teodorczyk did not take advantage of the opportunity – his shot was saved by the goalkeeper.

The Polish striker was lucky, however, because he will not be reproached for the unused one. “Eleven” was repeated because the opponents’ goalkeeper left the goal too early. The second time the ball was approached by Teodorczyk’s colleague Alessio Da Cruz, who placed the ball in the net. Eventually the match ended in a 3-3 draw. Teodorczyk stayed on the pitch until the 61st minute, when he was replaced.
Teodorczyk’s new club is currently on the last place in the table. The Polish forward, however, will not have to fear a possible game in Serie C. If Vicenza ended the season in relegation, Teodorczyk would be able to leave. Otherwise, his contract will be automatically extended for another year.
Łukasz Teodorczyk’s career in Udinese was not successful. He joined the Italian club in 2018 from Anderlecht for 3.5 million euros and since then he played 32 matches for the club, in which he scored only one goal. This season, the 30-year-old has not played a single game.
The Polish striker started his career, from which he moved to Lech Poznań in 2013. A year later he joined Dynamo Kiev, from which he was first on loan to Anderlecht, and then finally bought out by the Belgian club. He spent the 2020/21 season on loan at RCS Charleroi.
