Last weekend, the competition of the world’s best took place in the capital of the Tatra Mountains. On Saturday, a team competition was held at the facility in Zakopane, in which the Slovenes were definitely the best. Behind their backs were the Germans and the Japanese, while the Poles took only sixth place.
A day later there was a team competition. This time, the white-and-reds also did not play the leading roles. He won against Karl Geiger and Anze Lanisko. Piotr ¯y³a took 17th place, Paweł Wąsek was 22nd, and Stefan Hula finished in 27th place.

On the hill in Titisee-Neustadt we will not see the leaders of the Polish team. After Friday’s qualifications, five Polish jumpers, Andrzej Stękała, Aleksander Zniszczoł, and Klemens Murańka, were promoted to the competition. The 53rd place, which did not ensure participation in the competition, was taken by Tomasz Pilch.
The competition in the German Titisee-Neustadt will start on Saturday, January 22nd at 16:15. An hour earlier, the trial series will start. The broadcast of the main competition is scheduled for 15:45. It will be available on TVN and Eurosport 1, as well as on Player.pl.
