In a duel that was defined in three sets, Escobar and Behar beat the German couple Dominik Koepfer and Jan-Lennard Struff 7-6, 4-6, 6-2. The duel lasted 2 hours and 36 minutes.
At first the duel was even and could only be defined in the tie break, but in the second set the Europeans were able to break at the end and gain the advantage to win the set.
However, the South Americans in the third set showed their superiority by being seeded 15th and won it 6-2.
