Barça achieves its first victory and Bayern Munich remains unstoppable

This Wednesday the third day of the Champions League group stage with the matches played by the teams that are framed in groups E, F, G and H.

FC Barcelona achieved its first victory and did so against Dinamo Kiev (1-0) at the Camp Nou. The Catalan team has saved their first trial by fire as they added two defeats in the first two days and played it against the Ukrainian team. In the same group as Barcelona, Bayern Munich beat Benfica (0-4). Therefore, Bayern leads Group E with 9 points, Benfica is second with 4 points, Barça is third with 3 points and Dinamo Kiev is bottom with one point.

Too Villarreal added the victory against Young Boys (1-4). The team led by Unai Emery added its first victory and is third in group F with 4 points, tied with an Atalanta (4 points) that was defeated before the leader Manchester United (6 points) by 3-2. The English team came back from the initial 0-2 endorsed by the Italian team.

Julen Lopetegui’s Sevilla won its third consecutive draw after the 0-0 against Lille in French lands. In the other group G game, Salzburg beat Wolfsburg 3-1. Salzburg leads the standings with 7 points, followed by Sevilla in second place with 3 points, Lille is third with 2 points, the same as Wolfsburg (2 points) that occupies the last position.

In group H, Juventus took the victory against Zenit (0-1) and sealed the full of triumphs. Chelsea thrashed Malmö (4-0). Juve (9 points) is the leader, second place is occupied by Chelsea (6 points), third place is for Zenit (3 points) and Malmö (0 points) is the bottom of the group.
