An employee of a Russian bank robbed a former RPL legionnaire for millions of rubles

An employee of the Russian bank VTB robbed the former Dynamo Moscow player Gheorghe Florescu. This was reported by the Telegram channel “Mutko against”.

In 2019, 60 thousand euros (approximately 4.3 million rubles at the exchange rate of that year) were stolen from the account of a Russian Premier League (RPL) legionnaire. At that time, the footballer had already left Russia and played for the Romanian club Universitate.

The incident became known only in 2022 after one of the bank employees contacted the police. The security service of the bank received information that one of the employees of the organization used confidential information and stole funds from the account. He was arrested by the police and pleaded guilty. It is reported that other players could have been injured.

In addition to Dynamo, in Russia, the Romanian footballer played for Alania and Torpedo.

On November 24, a Bovet OttantaSei watch worth 200,000 euros was stolen from Russian tennis player Daniil Medvedev. The accessory disappeared from the athlete’s locker room at the final tournament of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) in Turin.
