In the preliminary economic report of the treasurer of the Ecuadorian Football Federation (FEF) that will be presented at the Ordinary Football Congress, to be held next week, and that is addressed to its president, Francis Egas, the members of the board of directors, as well as the owners of the provincial football clubs and associations, stand out the assets and liabilities you have, among which are the accounts payable and that the entity must comply with.

In section 2.1.1 of the Accounts and documents payable, on page 8 of the report, it is detailed Referees to cancel and highlights: “Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, and the economic crisis that it caused, it has not been possible to cancel the entire debt with the arbitrators. To alleviate the situation, payments have been made, leaving a balance of $1,140,179 to be paid to date”.

Luis Munes, president of the Association of Arbitrators of Ecuador, about the amount and the actions they will take to cover that value, in contact with Diario EL UNIVERSO said: “We will have future meetings and are conversations will give to find a way out”.
