Akhmat football player left the club due to his family’s unwillingness to live in Chechnya

Albanian midfielder Odise Roshi left Grozny Akhmat after his family did not want to live in Chechnya. The head coach of the team Andrei Talalaev told Sport24 about this.

“Odise turned to us: “Life is lost. I can’t be alone, and the people with whom I am comfortable did not want to live here. I have no questions for the team, but let me go,” the specialist said. He drew attention to the fact that Chechnya has a special culture and traditions, and Chechens are closed people, which makes it difficult for legionnaires to live in the region.

Roshi played for Akhmat since the summer of 2016 and played 88 matches for the team, in which he scored 12 goals. In the winter of 2021, the 30-year-old midfielder left the club, leaving for the Hungarian Diosgyor. At the moment, the football player plays for the Turkish Boluspor.

Last November, former Barcelona footballer Yaya Toure, who is currently the coach of Akhmat, said that a feature of life in Chechnya is the religiosity of the inhabitants of the region. He also drew attention to the prohibitions in Grozny, such as the inability to walk in short shorts.
