FIFA releases list of referees for Club World Cup

FIFA announced this Tuesday the referees who will be in the Club World Cup in the United Arab Emirates, a competition that will feature Palmeiras as the representative of South America. The refereeing team is composed of: five field referees, seven referees who will be responsible for the use of VAR and a fourth referee.

Each of the referee trios is made up of representatives from the same country. In the case of CONMEBOL, the Argentine Fernando Rapallini (main) was selected, along with Juan Pablo Belatti and Diego Bonfa (assistants). All of them will finish their preparations for the competition shortly before the start of the games.

The Club World Cup will be played between the 3rd and 12th of February. palm trees e Chelsea are the favorites and start with the semifinals and, if they advance to the stage, they play in the grand final.

AFC (Australia) – Chris Beath (main), Anton Schetinini and Ashley Beecham (assistants)
