The legend of the Russian national team spoke about the first non-binary athlete at the Olympics

Former player of the Russian national football team Alexander Mostovoy spoke about the first non-binary athlete in the history of the Olympic Games, American figure skater Timothy Leduc. His words are quoted by “All about sports.”

“I am against showing this. I would not shake hands, although I do not forbid anyone, ”said Mostovoy. The legendary football player noted that he understands that every person has the right to choose his own destiny, but he still opposes this.

According to Mostovoy, it is hard to imagine such a person in football. “In a team with more than 30 men, this one will not last long. Although the planet does not present anything, ”he said.

On January 16, Honored Coach of the Russian Federation Tatyana Tarasova spoke about the figure skater Ledyuk. She noted that one person will not become a threat to the Olympic movement. “I believe that every person born on earth has the right to do what he wants,” the specialist emphasized.

Earlier, Alexander Zhulin spoke about Leduc. The coach called the skater a freak and refused to comment on the situation in more detail.
