Everything indicates that on Wednesday Adam Nawałka will be announced by the Polish Football Association as the new-old selector. In the Monday’s Sport.pl LIVE program, the journalist of the Sportowy24.pl portal, Adam Godlewski, announced how high the earnings of the former coach of Wisła Kraków and Lech Poznań should be when he returns to the team.

“In the Polish Football Association they believe that Nawałka should earn more than any league coach”
– From what my sources say, in the case of Nawałka, it was mentioned from the beginning that the salary was in the amount of PLN 200-250 thousand per month. In the Polish Football Association, people are also convinced that Nawałka should earn more than any league coach – said Godlewski.
– Certainly, it will not be a contract as high as u, which earned EUR 75,000 a month, i.e. a lot over PLN 300,000. On our terms, however, these 200-250 thousand are not little money, and it seems that it was also possible to rent an apartment in Warsaw, because it seems that Nawałka will want to have a residence base here and in this respect it will definitely be different from Paulo Sousa. Ultimately, however, he will probably stay in a hotel, as he is preparing many trips – added Godlewski.
Such a high salary means that he will be the best-earning Polish national team selector in history. Nawałka is also to be able to count on his trusted staff from the past, incl. assistant to Bogdan Zając, coach of goalkeepers Jarosław Tkocz or physical preparation coach Remigiusz Rzepka. It is possible that it will also include more, it should be known on Wednesday – it is then most likely that Adam Nawałka will be presented as the new coach of the Polish national team.
