With a Brazilian goal at the end, Portimonense and Vitória de Guimarães draw for the Portuguese

This Monday, Portimonense received Vitória de Guimarães, in a match that closes the 18th round of the Portuguese Championship. Playing away from home, Vitória opened the scoring in the first half, but gave up the tie at the end.

In a duel in the top half of the table, the visitors started ahead. In the 34th minute of the game, Nelson da Luz took advantage of the defense and pushed it to the back of the net. The first half ended with victory for Vitória.

In the second half, a late reaction changed the course of the match. In the 40th minute of the second half, the Brazilian Anderson Oliveira hit from outside the area to tie the score.

With the result, Portimonense is in seventh position, with 25 points. Vitória, in turn, is just behind, in eighth place, with 24 points, losing the opportunity to overtake their opponent.

Portimonense returns to the field next Sunday, at 15:00 (Brasília time), to face Gil Vicente, in an important match of the Portuguese Championship. Vitória plays on the same day, but at 12:30 pm (Brasília time), when they face Estoril.
