This Wednesday, Newcastle announced the departure of coach Steve Bruce in “mutual agreement”. After becoming a “new rich” in football, the club already monitors other coaches.
“The process of recruiting a new coach is underway and an announcement will be made in due course. The club will not comment further at the moment”, informed the team.

Signed in July 2019, Bruce leaves Newcastle after more than two years and 97 games, with 29 wins, 25 draws and 43 losses. In the period, the team finished in 13th and 12th place in the Premier League, respectively.
“I would like to thank my coaching staff, players and staff for all the work. There were ups and downs, but they gave it their all even in difficult times and they should be proud of their efforts,” said Steve.
“This is a club with incredible support, and I hope the new owners can take it to the place we all want to be. I wish you all good luck for this season and beyond.”
After being bought by a Saudi investment fund, Newcastle is yet another billionaire club in world football and is now targeting a project with big names. The team, which already probed some technicians, is the vice-lantern of the English Championship and returns to the field on Saturday, at 11:00 am (GMT), when he faces Crystal Palace away from home.
